The U.S. healthcare workforce runs on slow paperwork, opaque agencies, and fragile credentialing. Hospitals lose months and millions waiting for nurses they could have hired direct. Nurses fill the same packet ten times a year for ten different employers. Rōvn is fixing that, starting with nursing.
What Rōvn does
Rōvn is not just a credentialing tool, and not just a job board. Rōvn is the direct hiring layer for healthcare.
- Nurse credential passport. A consented, primary-source-verified, portable credential packet owned by the nurse.
- Rōvn Ready trust score. Role-specific readiness so hospitals know up-front whether a nurse meets the bar for the job they posted.
- Hospital direct hiring command center. Transparent role posts, real applicants, packet-level review, and audit-grade evidence.
- Rōvn Connect. Integration layer with the systems hospitals already run — ATS, HRIS, scheduling, payroll, identity, background checks, BON, NPDB, Nursys, OIG, SAM.
Why now
- Agency cost is structural, not cyclical. Hospitals are forced to pay agency premiums because the direct hiring workflow is broken — not because agencies provide unique value.
- Credentialing data is finally addressable. Primary-source APIs (NPDB, Nursys e-Notify, OIG, SAM) are reachable in real time.
- The most underserved segment is reachable. Critical Access Hospitals (1,381 in 45 U.S. states per CMS, January 2026), ASCs, and LTC facilities are paying agency premiums and have the least leverage with enterprise vendors.

How we work
- Nurse-owned. Nurses control their packet and consent every release.
- Honest posture. We use the language we can defend. AWS BAA accepted, HIPAA-aligned controls, PHI maturity plan in progress — until the formal program is complete.
- Direct over agency. We do not lead with placement-fee economics. We build the workflow that makes agency premiums optional.
- Evidence over claims. Audit events, signed packet ledger, restore drills, evidence vault.
